Passionate about his home town, Crystal Brook, and his sport, Adam Perry is digging up history to compile a book about the Crystal Brook Football Club.
Along with a group of mates, Adam hopes to generate interest from the town and inspire people with any information to contact him.
It is believed that the club is 100- years-old or maybe more and putting the club’s history into print is a tribute to the town’s heritage.
From juniors to seniors, pictures, statistics and team line ups, Adam will happily gather information for the book.
The group of past players for the Roosters’ came across the idea
after reading Mick Kerin’s book
on the Crystal Brook Cricket
Club, and thought it was a “great book.”
“We hope to get the word out there and find any information on our club,” Adam said.
“From 1800s and 1900s up to the present time.”
Born and bred in Crystal Brook, Adam played B Grade for the Roosters and has covered many roles in the club, such as team manager.
So if you see Adam around town, give him a hand and help make the Crystal Brook Football Club Book a success.
