Thirteen players travelled to Orroroo for the first round of the triangular competition against Orroroo and Peterborough.
A very enjoyable day was had by all and thankyou to Orroroo Club for their hospitality.
The winner of the Jamestown competition was Daniel Warren with 44 points.
He was followed by Tim Harvie on 42pts on c/b from Simon Hockey.
The standings for the triangular are Jamestown leading on 37 points, Orroroo 36.95 points and Peterborough on 35.14 points. The next leg will be in Jamestown on May 23, see you there.
Next week’s round will be the Jamestown Shoe Store par round and quarter finals of the Match Cup.

Peterborough ladies golf
In pleasant conditions seven Peterbor-ough golf associates played a par competition for the Hubbard-Sutton trophy on May 6.
This trophy will be finalised this season being the fifth year it has run. Winner with two up was Cheryl French. It was Cheryl’s day also taking out the points winner, ADD and nearest the pin.
Results – C. French two up, J. Sutton square, D. O’Dea two up, A. Mckay three down, J. Pickstock five down, J. Stewart seven down, B. Child eight down.
Points – C. French five, J. Sutton four, D. O’Dea three, A. McKay two and J. Pickstock one.
Nearest the pin – with second hit on 12th hole – C. French.
