Joan launches art exhibition

Prominent Mid North artist, Joan McDonald, of Laura, unveiled the Gladstone Art Exhibition in the Gladstone Town Hall last Friday evening.

It is the ninth exhibition held in its current format and is organised by the Gladstone Community Development and Tourism Association, in particular exhibition coordinator Colin Raison and committee members Cheryl Hawkins-Clarke, Rosslyn Fordham, Judith Welgraven and Judith Wood.

Money raised by the event are used by the association for community projects, focused on the development of cultural and tourism enterprises.

The art exhibition is open in the Gladstone Town Hall, Cross Street, daily from 10am to 4pm until Friday, October 6, and is held as part of the Flinders Ranges A Brush with Art programme.
