Tourism, arts, heritage policy adopted

A foundation policy for tourism, arts and heritage, developed for and including the residents of the Goyder Council region, was adopted at a recent meeting of the local council. Regional Council of Goyder elected members agreed on the policy, which supports Council’s aim and commitment to engage with relevant stakeholders, effectively working together to deliver positive economic growth outcomes.

“The policy’s objectives are to grow our tourism industry with a quality visitor experience, promoting the destination, and continually improve as an industry, both individually and collaboratively,” Council’s Chief Executive Officer David Stevenson said.
