Goyder tourism set to grow

A strong economic driver for regional prosperity, destination tourism is acknowledged as being a drawcard for visitors to the Goyder region in the Mid North.

Steeped in mining and agricultural history, the towns of Burra, Terowie, Eudunda and surrounds are magnets for visitors who enjoy exploring what the region has to offer and learning about its rich history.

The Regional Council of Goyder has acknowledged the link between the past and the future, which has potential to grow and prosper, and it is working towards embedding tourism as a vital industry.

Councillors are working to implement the Goyder Tourism Strategic Plan together with the appointment of a Tourism, Arts and Heritage Development Manager.
