The gnomes of Gladstone are on the move!
They appear and disappear from gardens, windows and yards and some have travelled far afield to have their photos taken in distant places.
On a recent morning they were discovered surrounding the “silent cop” in the middle of the main intersection.
They have infiltrated the town so much that there will now be a gnome theme at the Gladstone Country Fair on September 21.
Should you visit our town be sure to do some hunting of your own and perhaps take some photos.
A photo was taken a couple of weeks ago of the gnomes behind bars at the Post Office. The “Cuppa Tree” in Matthew Street is included on the Town Walk brochure.
While a small number of people started this as a skylark, it seems people have joined in without the core group knowing initially.
Gnomes have appeared in shop windows without the proprietors knowledge and have parted equally secretly.
