Community bank agency on its way

With the banking days continuing to be well utilised with appointments being booked out in advance, the steering committee has just received confirmation from Bendigo Bank that they will support the opening of an agency in Crystal Brook.

We believe this will help us to reach our target for the fully operational Crystal Brook Regional Community Bank in the near future.

We are currently sitting at almost $10 million worth of banking on the books with $12m being the target for the feasibility study stage to begin and an eventual $18m to open the branch.

Steering committee chairman Marcus Perry said the opening of an agency will enable clients to be able to carry out their day to day banking in the town.

Appointments to see Karl Goode will still be taken for all other banking – loans, investments etc.

Karl is a keen supporter of our campaign and will continue to travel up from Gawler for appointments.

The committee are currently working on finding a suitable location for the agency hoping that it will be up and running within a couple of months.

We are still asking that you seriously consider swapping your banking over to the Crystal Brook Regional Community Bank to help us reach our target sooner.

Banking dates for March will be 9, 10, 22 and 23.

Theses dates will be  advertised on the bill board outside of the chemist and on the large sign on the fence at the gym/skate park.

Karl Goode can be contacted on 08 8521 4100 and for all rural banking contact Tom Kennedy on 0409 012 248.
