Diesel theft from graders in region

Police are asking the community to report any suspicious activity near parked road works vehicles after two reports of diesel being syphoned from unattended graders. Anyone noticing people or vehicles parked near graders or other parked vehicles – particularly in isolated areas – is urged to call police on 131 444. The two reports occurred at Peterborough where more than 200 litres of diesel was taken from a grader left on Belalie Road, and about 100 litres taken from a grader left on Main Street at Redhill over eight days.
