The Redhill Playground Committee has welcomed a $500 donation from the Crop Science division of Bayer and Koolunga Garage Farm Supplies through the iGiveLocal Community Support Program.

Now in its third year, the iGiveLocal Program has to date donated over $100,000 to 190 local causes around the country.

The cheque was proudly presented to Redhill Playground Committee representative Sarah Pilkington by Graham Hatcher from Bayer and Wade Lowry from Koolunga Garage Farm Supplies.

Sarah said the committee was seeking funding to establish a playground at Redhill Oval and every serving member on the committee is a farmer or farmer’s wife.

“Children from a wide area would use this playground and the joy we would see on the children’s faces would be priceless,” she said.

“The money will be used to help pay for the playground equipment, fencing surrounds and safety equipment, and we’re very appreciative of the support from the iGiveLocal program.”
