Junior players awarded

The BMW Football/Netball Club held its annual presentation evening at the Melrose complex and a sizeable crowd attended supporting the junior members of the Lions and their achievements.

Presidents Damien Smith and Nic Carey presented their reports for the football and netball clubs, before it was time for Liam Bastian and Abby Webb to host the assembled crowd through the evening.

Coaches for the Minis (David Prosser), Sub Minis (Noel Arthur) and Cubbies (Troy Sims) presented their players with a photographic memory and a participation medallion supplied by the local Lions Club (thanks for supporting Lions by buying all those donuts). Likewise, coaches for the netball teams, in the Minis (Nikki Atkinson) and Sub Minis (Merridee Groves) presented their charges with a memento and medals. Achievement trophies were also presented for all junior football and netball grades.
