Crystal Brook stormed home to secure a place in the 2018 Northern Areas Football Association A-grade grand final after a 59-point victory over Orroroo.
The Roosters got off to a slow start in the first quarter of the preliminary final as the Roos managed to set a nine-point margin.
It was in the second quarter that the Roosters’ brilliance was on display and the red-and-whites started to add to scoreboard, limiting the Roos’ scoring opportunities.
The Roosters added five goals to the board during the term while the Roos managed just one goal.
Heading into the third quarter with an 18-point lead, Crystal Brook continued to pile the pressure on Orroroo as well as adding considerably to the goal tally.
The Roosters were in fine form in front of goals and booted seven in the third term, with the Roos scoring just a single point.
Senior colt Mitch Abell won the James Clothier Memorial Trophy, John Arbon was awarded Life Membership, Steven Merkel was awarded Life Membership and Stuart Nicolson won the Brian 'Bugs' Bailey Award.
The club invites coaching applications for the 2019 season in A grade, B grade, senior colts, junior colts and mini colts.
