Port Pirie police have arrested four people over the theft of artwork from Crystal Brook last Friday.
Between 5pm on Friday November 2 and 11.30pm on Saturday November 3, four paintings were stolen from the railway underpass on Railway Terrace at Crystal Brook.
The artwork, painted by local school children and a local Aboriginal Artist, had been donated by the Crystal Brook Community Association and placed on display in the underpass that Friday.
Police recovered three of the stolen paintings on Thursday and the remaining painting was located on Friday in Port Pirie after information was received from the public.
As a result of investigations, police arrested three men and a girl over the theft.
Three Port Pirie men, two aged 18 and one aged 19, were charged with aggravated theft.
They were bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on 7 January 2019.
A 17-year-old Port Pirie girl was also charged with aggravated theft and was bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Youth Court on 5 December.
