Police recover many stolen items from Peterborough

Peterborough police are continuing to investigate a break in a storage shed during the early morning of Wednesday 15 June 2019.

Numerous items (pictured) including generators, chainsaws, a log splitter and other items were stolen. Due to support from the community, police located a number of the stolen items, including a vehicle.

Peterborough police wish to thank the community for their interest and ongoing support.

Senior Constable First Class Gladwell of Peterborough says, "we have recovered the majority of the items which we are very pleased to be able to return to the victim, but certainly the community assistance was invaluable.".

One of the items stolen was a chain saw only available to those working in the forestry commission, which has the identifying mark of OD44 on it.
