A show-stopping performance from Broughton-Mundoora saw the Eagles run riot over Orroroo.

The Eagles had complete control over the game from the onset, hitting the board with five goals in the opening quarter of the round eight clash while the Roos managed just five behinds.

The Eagles managed to keep moving the ball up forward, adding another four goals in the second quarter while the Roos scored one.

An electric third quarter saw the Eagles fire up all cylinders in what was a beautiful display of football, piling on a staggering 12 goals while the Roos scored one.

The Eagles kept chipping away at the board, kicking another five in the final quarter to the Roos' two, walking away with a 137-point triumph.

Gene Robinson was in brilliant form with a 10-goal performance and was best on the day for the Eagles.

Robinson is living up to his reputation as a goal machine with 52 already this season and is head-and-shoulders above the pack that includes other star forwards Daniel Hill (Crystal Brook - 32 goals), Willy Serle (Southern Flinders - 27 goals) and Jason Eagle (Crystal Brook - 23 goals).

For the Roos, Nick Hombsch kicked their four goals while Andrew Catford topped their best players list.

ROOSTERS' REIGN CONTINUES

Crystal Brook's winning reign continued at the weekend, putting on a dominant display against Southern Flinders.

The Roosters enjoyed a solid start to Saturday's encounter at Gladstone with a six-goal opening quarter to the Tigers' one goal.

The red-and-whites chipped away at the scoreboard, adding another four goals in the second while the Tigers again scored a goal. The Roosters had a 46-point lead at the long break.

While momentum slowed slightly, the Roosters still managed to move the ball up forward and continued to widen the margin with three goals in the third quarter and another three in the final to the Tigers' one goal in each of the last two quarters.

Will Combe and Daniel Hill had a brilliant day in front of the goals for the Roosters and booted five each. Shaun Kapitola topped the best players list.

For the Tigers, Willy Serle kicked two and Michael Hobbs was best.

Lions win in low-scoring clash

BMW triumphed in a low-scoring clash with Jamestown-Peterborough, walking away with a four-point victory.

The Magpies got off to the better start out of the two sides with a two-goal first quarter while the Lions scored two behinds.

Another two goals were added to the board by the Magpies in the second quarter while the Lions added just another behind.

The Lions scored their first goal in the third to the Magpies' two behinds. The Lions turned the tables in the final quarter, adding five goals to the board to the Magpies' one goal.

Best for the Lions was Bradley Taylor while Nick McCallum and Simon George kicked two goals each.

For the Magpies, Cody Hounsell kicked three and best player honours went to Greg Farr.
