Broughton-Mundoora continues to retain its spot as the association's top dog, this time proving too strong for Southern Flinders.

The Eagles got off to the better start of the two in Saturday's round clash 12 at Laura, with a four-goal first quarter to the Tigers' two.

Another five goals were added by the Eagles in the second quarter while the Tigers again added two.

The Eagles held a 31-point lead at the long break.

Momentum slowed for both the Tigers and the Eagles as they entered the second, both adding a goal to the board in the third.

Golden boots Gene Robinson continues to pile on goals to his scoring tally, now sitting at 75 for the season, and kicked eight on Saturday. Robinson also topped the best players list for the Eagles.

In the final quarter, the Tigers scored three goals while the Eagles managed two.

For the Tigers, Willy Serle kicked three while best player honours went to Jaran Turner.

Roosters put on dominant display

Crystal Brook is inching closer to regaining its top-of-the-ladder crown after demolishing Jamestown-Peterborough in a powerful display at home.

The Roosters were off to a red-hot start, piling on eight goals in the opening quarter to the Magpies' solitary goal.

A solid effort in the second quarter saw the Roosters added another six goals to the board to the Magpies' one. The Roosters held a strong 74-point lead at half-time.

The Roosters continued to blow the margin apart in the second half, adding five goals in the quarter to the Magpies' three.

The Roosters repeated the dose in the final quarter, with five goals while the Magpies scored a behind.

Jason Eagle was in brilliant form for the Roosters, piling on 11 goals, followed by Will Combe with four. Eagles was also the Roosters' best.

For the Magpies, Joshua Weatherley, Sam McCarthy, Nicholas Rowe, Dylan Redden and Cody Hounsell kicked one each. Rowe was the Magpies' best.

Lions claim victory

After a slow first quarter, BMW fired up to claim fourth spot on the ladder over Orroroo. A one-point opening quarter for the Lions saw the Roos off to a better start with two goals.

The Lions regrouped in the second quarter to add six goals to the board while the Roos were kept scoreless, giving the Lions a 30-point lead at the long break.

The Roos responded in the third quarter with two goals to the Lions' one but a dominant final quarter saw the Lions knock the Roos into fifth place.

The Lions piled on six goals in the final quarter to the Roos' two, giving the Lions a 43-point victory.

Brad Taylor and Nick McCallum both scored three goals for the Lions while Matt Christopherson topped the best players list.

For the Roos, goals were spread across Brodie O'Dea, Liam O'Dea, Darren Hughes, Josh Lawson, Luke Ellery and Nick Hombsch who all kicked one each. Lawson the Roos' best.

Under 15 team claims title

At the 2019 Youth Championships, the North Adelaide Football Club Under 15 country team was named intrastate champions. The side had strong wins against Glenelg in round one, Sturt and Central District.

A side also competed in the Under 17 competition but had losses to Glenelg and Sturt before defeating Central District.
