Jamestown Show has secured the dream team of Australian food and fibre promotions for its 2019 event on Sunday, October 6 and Monday, October 7.
Charismatic Australian lamb ambassador Sam Kekovich and delightful Australian wool ambassador Catriona Rowntree will both be attending the two-day Jamestown Show spectacular at the October long weekend.
Lambassador Kekovich will be officially opening the show on Monday at 12 noon.
He's also lined up for a speaking gig at 7.00pm Sunday night at The Roundhouse, where he will share some tales from his football career.
Sam will also be presenting awards to the Young Farmer Challenge and the speediest of the Speed Shearers.
On Monday, Kekovich will officially open the Paddock to Plate Pavillion at 10.15am, sharing a little of his passion for Australian lamb.
Jamestown Show president David Cooper said the Jamestown Show committee was thrilled to have Sam Kekovich as a guest of honour this year.
"As Lambassador, Sam has achieved great publicity for Australian lamb producers, and this fits perfectly with our Paddock to Plate theme (for 2019)," Mr Cooper said.
Catriona Rowntree took little enticing to come back for her third Jamestown Show in a row.
Catriona is a crowd favourite, a personality-plus boost to the show program.
As well as hosting three Australian Wool Innovation fashion parades in the Big Shed, you'll see Catriona trying her hand at the inaugural Boot Toss on Sunday evening at The Roundhouse.
