Two former Northern Areas Football Association players have scooped awards at a SANFL club's awards night.

North Adelaide Football Club players Campbell Combe (Crystal Brook) and Sam McInerney (Jamestown-Peterborough) were honoured at the club's recent end-of-year celebration.

Combe was named as the SANFL Roosters' Best Team Man while McInerney received the Best Club Man honour.

Former local Rooster, Combe, is no stranger to awards success after he bagged his third Mail Medal last year.

After playing League for the Adelaide-based Roosters in 2014, he made the return home to play footy in the Brook before rejoining North Adelaide's League side permanently this year.

McInerney, who played in the club's triumphant SANFL grand final against Norwood last year, has been a part of North Adelaide's League line-up since 2017.
