Casey French (26) and John Ballantyne (15) gave Georgetown a chance of winning the game but their hopes were crushed by a devastating spell of bowling from Louis Cummins who took a hat trick in the second to last over, meaning that Georgetown needed 12 runs from the final 6 deliveries.

In the end, it proved a bridge too far, as Cooper Hayes picked up the final wicket and clinched an 8 run win for Redhill.

Undefeated Laura secures easy win over Crystal Brook

Coates was the first to go, caught off the bowling of Will Smart for 18.

Luke Bartlett joined Cousins at the crease but his stay was short lived as he became Smart's second victim and returned to the pavilion without troubling the scorers.

Cousins was the next to go, dismissed by Rick Willis for 49 with the score at 3/82.

Hayden Hooper (35) and Josh Clements (15) combined well to put on 42 for the fourth wicket but after they were dismissed, the tail had no wag in it.
