A professor with one of the world's most incredible track records of predicting election results believes Boris Johnson and Donald Trump are on course to win.
Griffith University's Bela Stancic successfully predicted Scott Morrison's surprise victory in May, along with other upsets including Brexit and Trump's win in 2016.
Ahead of the UK's general election on Thursday, the man dubbed the "Nostradamus of the 21st century" believes Johnson's Conservatives will win.
"Boris Johnson was well ahead last time when I looked. I think he has big data experts on his team - that's why he was so confident to call the election," he told the Towards 2022 conference in Sydney on Sunday.
Professor Stancic is a big data expert who uses information collated from social media and other sources in his model.
While the US presidential election is not until November next year, his early data sees Trump remaining in the White House.
"If they don't impeach him, Trump will have a landslide victory."
Professor Stancic predicted 49 of the 50 US states correctly at the 2016 US presidential election, despite most polls predicting Hillary Clinton would win.
